Cecilie Manz
Copenhagen-based designer Cecilie Manz approaches every project with a single objective. “Function is essential and if I cannot formulate a good reason for a new product to exist, it is better to refrain from making it,” she says. Cecilie Manz has been designing for Muuto since they were founded in 2006. Her straightforward yet elegant work has the warmth and simplicity that feels so right for how we live and work today. “I design things that have meaning to me,” she says. “My general objective is to always have a clear argument that legitimizes the designs that I make.”
