The Around Coffee Table sets itself apart from other round coffee tables with its wood veneer lip that frames its outer edge. This detail appears simple but requires the intrinsic knowledge passed down through generations of Scandinavian designers to get right. A small opening in the lip allows the tabletop edge to be briefly visible – adding a further twist. This collection of round wood coffee tables is available in multiple sizes to mix and match.

About the Designer
Thomas Bentzen
Danish designer Thomas Bentzen creates furniture that’s functional and simple but also engages curiosity. “I like to create objects that satisfy a human need when in use and create joy when idle,” he says. Bentzen started his Copenhagen-based studio in 2010. He’s known for his methodical approach to design, and is passionate about creating products that are both engaging and durable. “For me, durability means quality, form, and functionality,” he says. “I put a lot of energy into making virtues out of necessities.”
