What's To Like:
Anyone can be comfortable without making any manual adjustments to the chair - and that's a rare feat that Steelcase has bulled off. The "balanced action rocker" mechanism allows the Cachet chair to flex and move with you, and the mechanism balances your weight to provide continuous support. Composite edges and flexible slotted surfaces absorb and evenly distribute your weight.

What's Not to Like:
The only thing we can think of that we don't like is that there aren't any "task chair" adjustments. That may be a deal-breaker for some, but it's also an advantage for a mobile workplace or conference seating.

The Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a task chair with all the adjustments and bells and whistles, the Cachet chair isn't for you. It's bare-bones. However, it does the bare-bones job a ton better than most other chairs in its class. It's a good, comfortable buy for situational tasking and conference seating.
