About the Designer
Lars Tornøe
Working from his studio in the Norwegian town of Stavanger, Lars Tornøe draws upon his Scandinavian heritage to design simple objects with understated yet sculptural details. “I select my ideas very carefully,” he says. “If a concept gives me great motivation then I take the next step and translate the first flash of an idea into a physical form – that’s my favorite part of the design process.”
