Newson has your back! The Honeycomb Back supports the way you work through the pairing of a uniquely flexible frame and an elastomeric skin, so you experience a broad range of supporting movement. Plus an innovation in mechanisms, the T1 Control utilizes a vertical spring system that allows you to tailor the recline experience so you can get the deepest dwell or sit upright while you focus. Twist the tension knob five full rotations to experience the range of movement.
Designed to take work to the next level, the back and arm feel soft like suede, and the contrasting knobs and handles draw your attention for adjusting with bright colors and shiny smooth surfaces.

Simple Design, Meticulously Crafted
With a world-renowned modern designer at the helm, every detail of the Newson Task Chair has been thoughtfully considered. Marc Newson designed from all angles—ensuring every surface, component and seam meets with his rigorous commitment to simplicity.
+ The chair has an organic, fluid design that clearly evokes movement. The profile is one continuous line, creating a cantilever shape that makes the seat appear to float—a completely new look for a work chair.
+ The back has a soft, rounded shape that offers a warm invitation to take a seat. Its pattern was designed to evoke a sense of depth and movement on a plane that would typically be viewed as flat.
+ Textures have been carefully selected to give every surface you touch a sense of luxury. The back and arms feel soft like suede and contrast nicely with the shiny, smooth knobs and handles that draw your attention for adjusting.
+ Ten different materials have been custom colored and their components matched to deliver a uniform visual experience.

Honeycomb Back
+ Pairs a uniquely flexible nylon frame with a rubberized, thermoplastic elastomeric skin that work together to support all levels of movement—from an upright posture to the deepest recline.
+ The elastomeric back has a hammock-like effect that provides comfort so effortless, you barely notice it’s there. The unique hole pattern allows the back to stretch with your movements, providing the support you need.
+ The Honeycomb back features integral lumbar support in the shape of the frame which is enhanced by the conforming elastomer webbing that’s been molded at its tension to ensure comfortable support.
T1 Control
+ An innovation in tilt mechanisms, the T1 Control utilizes a vertical spring system to allow the seat to float. Tailor the tension and recline experience uniquely to your preference. Adjust the tension to be able to glide back as easily as you’d like and linger in your recline with comfortable ease.
+ To leave the underside of the chair free and uncluttered, its design has been flipped vertically, with a clean, clever tilt elegantly tucked beneath the seat.
+ The tension adjustment delivers the same simple, fluid experience to a wide variety of users.
+ The tilt limiter allows you to limit movement to a partial recline or lock out the recline completely.

About the Designer
Marc Newson
Marc Newson has been described as one of the most influential designers of his generation. He has worked across a wide range of disciplines, creating everything from furniture and household objects to bicycles and cars, private and commercial aircraft, yachts, various architectural commissions, and signature sculptural pieces for clients across the globe. His clients include many of the best known and most prestigious brands in the world - from manufacturing and technology to transportation, fashion and the luxury goods sector. Born in Sydney in 1963, Newson spent much of his childhood travelling in Europe and Asia. He started experimenting with furniture design as a student and with the aid of an Australian Crafts Council grant, staged his first exhibition. By the age of 25, he had created the now famous Lockheed Lounge which has set four world record prices at auction for work created by a living designer.

Seller warrants to the original Purchaser only that the Products Seller manufactures and sells to Purchaser are free of defects in workmanship and materials, during the applicable warranty period.
